Ban on marketing condensed milk to children

The Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) in a circular letter dated May 22 called on all producers and distributors to refrain from these deceptive marketing strategies. The directive also bans showing the ads to kids below the age of five or using the product in TV programs for children.

Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS)

Gerakan Maysyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) is a movement to promote healthy lifestyles in Indonesia. It is involved in initiatives and programmes to: increase physical activity; promote healthy lifestyle behaviours; provide healthy food and improve nutrition; increase disease prevention; improve the environment; and increase health education.
